Medline France Opens New Office in Châteaubriant

Around one year ago, construction began on a new Medline France office building in Châteaubriant, which is now open and home to 67 new working spaces as well as a customer showroom and training centre.

Châteaubriant is home to manufacturing activities for sterile procedure trays (SPTs) that are shipped to operating theatres all across Europe. So this project not only represents an increase in Medline’s SPT presence but also the company’s desire to offer a more modern working environment for its employees, not to mention a state-of-the-art training environment for our customers.

The new building is also in the process of receiving the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification and the Passive House label for adherence to green building principles. In short, these certifications are a mark of quality and achievement in green building, signifying a resource-efficient, high-performing, healthy and cost-effective building.

This new office building is part of a larger project in Châteaubriant, which also included the refurbishment and redesign of different areas in the plant (including the locker area and break room). Now, these areas have the same look and feel as the new additions, creating a cohesive and professional aesthetic across the facility.
