Gemini 61-G Interleave Sterilisation Wrap

Medline’s Gemini 61-G Interleave Sterilisation Wrap offers an SSMMS wrap that is appropriate for use in all major sterilisation cycles, including pre-vacuum steam cycles, gravity steam cycles, ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilisation and STERRAD® sterilisation.

This surgical wrap for wrapping standard to medium-weight medical devices or instrument sets during sterilisation provides proven high-level barrier protection against fluid and particles. Each wrap can be used for sequential wrapping for sterilisation, providing both multilayer technology and colour differentiation.

Made with a unique SSMMS fabric, Gemini’s multiple strong layers resist tearing and punctures. Our pink and blue wraps are soft and fold easily because of Gemini’s extremely soft no-lint fabric, making each wrap simple to work with. In addition, the dual colours can also be used to colour code different instruments or procedures, or differentiate hospital equipment from equipment on loan. By way of this colour differentiation (different shades of blue)—lightweight is light blue while heavyweight is dark blue—staff can also identify each wrap’s weight.

Finally, our interleaved medical wraps have better adhesion properties than other SMS wraps and are compatible with sterilisation tape, ensuring that the wraps are completely closed.
